So, got the usual scores on the doors back from Prof's assistant Linda yesterday, post seeing him on tues this week. Had a feeling that they would still be creeping up – because that is precisely what they are doing - the days of it all staying pretty much non-readable and stable are sadly no longer the case.
It's now 4.26 – and the increases are starting to jump more visibly – if I were bette at stats I might be able to see that it's a recurring roughly 10% increase each time, but as I'm not, that's just what it feels like. Which as those among you who are much better at maths than me will see that over time, may provide some bigger and more significant jumps than is ideal.
My very rough guess is that I might get as much as 1 more year without treatment, and yes I am touching wood (and cloth, not to put too fine a point on it) as I dare to write that. Here's hoping anyway.
But for now – I decided in the appointment to try my luck and not go back for 3 months instead of the usual two, and he said yes. So yah sucks boo to bloody Myeloma until 26th July.
Eat my suntan.
