Off to Dubai!!!!

Dubai .. or do you not buy? That is the question.

Well, last night we decided we would – Hawksey has been invited back to the Dubai Rugby Sevens, to referee… yes, the event 2 years ago when he stepped out onto the pitch to blow his whistle and give it large… and promptly ruptured a disc in his back, resulting in 2 weeks in hospital, being flown home with a nurse and me having a major sense of humour failure, when he told me he'd been picked up by the Drugs people at Heathrow as someone must have put something in his bag… NOT FUNNY!!!!

So – here he is, 2 years older, somewhat more covered with love handles… and he's off to do it all again.

'ROLL UP! ROLL UP! Place your bets here now, for which piece of the Hawksey anatomy breaks/ pings/ drops off first…'

Anyway – thouight would go keep him company / heckle from the crowd – and of course make the most of theoretically being able to access all areas and drool over some of the world's finest rugby boys nice and close up! Yum, yummedy yum, don't mind if I do.

Let's just hope more time is spent on the field in the sun than in Dubai Hospital, negotiating with his travel insurers…. Sx
