My 1,000th post

Yes – you did read that right. Not my 100th post on here – but, somehow, by a bloody miracle – my 1,000th post, according to Typepad's memory.

Who would ever have thought that I would:

a) get round to writing one thousand posts when I was never a must-be blogger

b) still be alive ten years later to be knocking them out every few days

c) hopefully still have a few dedicated chums who are actually still reading them….

Bugger me.

Can't quite believe it, but there you go, I guess the stats don't lie.

If we could ever be arsed to turn all these into a book to raise some money for Myeloma UK, I think we'd now be looking at a Harry Potter series pretty much… Not sure it'd sell quite as well, but I still feel that being here after all these years is definitely pretty magical x
