H’s first post-treatment results

…were, very thankfully, good this week.

His PSA score was 0.04 last time and has dropped since then down to a hugely welcome 0.02 when we saw Mr Khoo on Wednesday.

So while it's not 100% undetectable, which would be even better, it was still a damn sight better than hearing the score was creeping – or shooting – back up, as soon as the treatment finished.

Very much hoping that we see something similar when we come back from New Zealand, as this is his next appointment. And then its every three months from that point..

So we popped post-appointment straight to the Hand in Hand for a big-relief-pint, just missed the 'eat the mince pie the quickest' contest in the boozer but still caught the local choir knocking out a few carols – a local English, dog-friendly pub doing a few cheery pre-Christmas bits very nicely.

And now we can head off on the big trip with far, far less of that all too familiar horrid feeling of fear and dread – here's to his bloods behaving similarly well for a long time to come.
