Hockey schmocky

So – the glorious Aces sadly lost again yesterday, 2-0 to, fair enough, the side that's second in the League. While we remain languishing in 10th place – and we're only above the very bottom two teams as they haven't yet played their snowed-off game, so we may slide ever southwards yet…

We've got 3 games to go – I think if we win just one, we'll probably stay up and not get relegated. The teams we have left to play are numbers 7, 1 (ouch, they've won 13 of their 18 games while we've won 3 of our 19) and then lastly the team in 9th place - so it's possible there are points to be had if we get just a little bit lucky and play out of our skins.

I'm loving hockey at the moment – the team is stuffed full of all my chums and it could hardly be any better in terms of people – so here's to us somehow squeaking a place still in this League (Middlesex Premier) and not getting relegated.

If anyone fancies it, all support (any blooming support!) would be very welcome. We're at Tiffin Girls School on the richmond Road in Kingston at 11.30am next Saturday 9th March - come on down. Go the Aces!
