Hawksey’s BEST Christmas Present in 9 Years

But the BESTEST thing that happened this Xmas was that yesterday, Hawksey met up with Zoe, his daughter. Who is now 18 and was able to pick him up in her car from Bristol station.

We haven't seen her since she was 9 years old – a long and sad story – and H has only been allow to speak to her a handful of times in all those years.

So it was absolutely the best thing ever that she finally agreed to see him and they spent 3+ hours together, walking Scrumpy (despite her buggered hips), sharing a pizza lunch and having a good conversation. 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Fingers crossed she may choose Sussex University next year and be closer to us, that would def be a big bonus.

Given how tough things are right now, this was a huge thing to happen, so well chuffed for H and very very thankful that Zoe saw him.

SO delighted – and hopefully there will be more visits and chats in the year to come, we will see. x
