Good Prof News

I was sitting at CCL this morning, waiting to have my blood test before tomorrow's monthly chemo session, and his assistant Linda popped out.

Shoved a bit of A4 paper under my nose with the usual unintelligible pile of data on it, not helped by me not having my glasses on..

But the good bit was what she said: 'You're in complete remission, very good bone marrow biopsy results'.

These are new words for me as I only got to 'VGPR' (very good partial remission) last time after my stem cell transplant.

So – quite a nice start to my birthday week. Celebrated it with a crazy tuna jacket potato over lunch with Sarah T in the new AV offices. Cocktails deffo to follow at the weekend! And long, long, long may it please last.
