Dubai – Rugby ‘WAG’ time

It's a miracle – Hawksey goes to the Dubai Rugby Sevens and this time not only manages to stay in one healthy piece for more than the 2 minutes he managed 2 years ago – but actually survives the full three days intact!

And I just about manage to survive being a WAG (Wide-Arsed Girlfriend)… . even if the only shopping I achieved was a pair of trainers (for all that burn-the-lard running I'll be doing in the New Year, oh yes… maybe…we'll see).

As you'll see, lots of hanging out with the England Boys (Boys indeed, barely out of their teens and sporting bum fluff in between shagging the cheer leaders, oh so predictable) as well as a touch of celeb spotting with the sexy Austin Healey and ruff-tuff Will Greenwood among the old gits being rolled out for Charidee sides.

Very handy to have access to the tunnel area and trophy alley… could look over the rail and spot All Blacks or whoever who coming, right under our sunburned noses. Ah the power of the Ref's Bird security pass.

Short post today – Xmas cards to write (any excuse not to start them) and next holiday to be planned! Cambodia come to momma.. 

And only 4 working days left till the break - hurrah hurrah – 'holidays are coming, holidays are coming, always Coca Cola.. with a large vodka or rum' to survive the family…
