Violet / Lettie Turns One

So, even after a year, it's still not quite clear what my second great-niece is actually to be called. She has been christened Violet but is also known as Lettie (which I secretly prefer..)

Anyway – we met my brother and sister in law inside a pub (I know, I had asked him to make sure there was outside space, but he as usual had not listened and it was going to be too cold for the baby, so we sat at a distance inside.. No point having a hissy fit after a 2 hour drive to get there!)

Violet is very cute – and did seem to like the little board books I'd got her for her prezzie – still giggling that they are called things like 'A Visit From Pooh' – I had one of those this morning, courtesy of Mojo on the doormat, again, but that's another story..

Not quite so sure she enjoyed the Great-Aunt Scotty cuddle, even when being pacified by a lentil puff.

Followed up by a dog walk and catch up – Richard clearly in the camp that lockdown etc is madness and we should all be developing herd immunity – Heather warning me not to get him on the subject! Still, makes a change from our religious differences .. Nice to see them before we inevitably shift into Tier 3, sigh. Ramsgate/Margate still remarkably unscathed x
