Un tres bon weekend in Le Touquet

So, had a fab weekend in Le Touquet on tour with the Puritans. Was the 60th anniversary of the tournament which we celebrated by livening up the deadly dull dinner for 600 people with hawkes leading a mass conga through the cavernous room and across the stage, stealing a large yellow fluffy duck from one men's team who took their eye off it for a moment too long, endless laughter and getting the runners up cup in the final, actually better than the winners one which got hurled across the astro by the pitch water cannon and broke an arm off.

Right now am in Amsterdam, my last semi full time day for Added Value before I move to my new working pattern from tomorrow. Which will be five days per month, plus the chance to work for myself a bit in between.

So watch this space for the new business stuff. Logo design is almost done, name is sorted, almost got email up and running, who knows I may even be in a position to start looking for work soon! Ok, so bank account and all manner of other dull stuff still needs to be done, but it will get there. A bit weird, dropping to a smaller relationship with added value after 16 years, now I know how prisoners feel when they are released back into the big wide world..

But all good stuff, looking forward to getting house stuff a bit more in order (how can so many things break, leak and need to be replaced in just one home?), sorting mums stuff out a bit better and oh yes, doing some external work.

Right, better go run this last workshop. Once more with feeling hey? Then meeting my sister and the little two nieces for a wild celebratory cup of tea at Schiphol on the way home, man I know how to ring the changes in style!

Will bung some photos on here soon as can, much more entertaining than my wibbling.

Nearly the long weekend folks…. Can't wait for our street party in the forecasted 12 degrees and bloody rain… X
