You know summer is finally here when you find yourself with an illicit ‘coffee cup’ filled with chilled Pimms, perched up on banked seating, in the baking sun, frazzling despite Factor 30 and dozing gently on occasion to the sound of ‘thwack’ below – in this case the opening day of the tennis at Queens.
Very nice day with Liz T, punctuated with excessive picnic scoffing and a lot of nattering and catching up.
No Murray today but plenty of Cilic, Querry, Verdasco etc providing varying amounts of sporting entertainment and eye candy for the cougars…
Topped off by an England win in the footy, not a bad day all round x
