Various of you have been gently pestering me for a look at the sheep book that you all sent your photos in for, as part of my 50th birthday surprise – here are a sample 6 pages from it.
But before that – IT'S MYTH BUSTER TIME!
This might be a good time to dispel the increasingly large myth that I love sheep. The reason for the Sheep theme is in fact that Hawksey's nickname for me is Sheepy Nou Nou. Yes, Sheepy because I was softer than expected when we first met and Nou Nou because – charmingly – he thinks I am a total hooverer of food (its the name of the vacuum cleaner in Teletubbies..)
SO – it means it is just a nickname and that – really sorry to break it to you – I don't actually love sheep, beyond the average person. And I'm even slightly allergic to wool…. I know – things can sometimes run away with themselves (on 4 woolly legs). Thank you for the range of sheep gifts received thus far – the majority of them actually relatively tasteful – but I'm not sure Dora Road (or I) can squeeze in any more….
Anyway – back to the book, which was a really nice idea and looks great – all photos hugely appreciated!
