Yup, this is what we call ourselves when the 5 AV girls drag out the 5 AV husbands and we finally – finally – get to be all together as a group of 10. Chez Dora for a BBQ, hurrah!
Girls surpassed themselves as ever – Janine on nibbles with a fine array of hand squashed guacamole, nachos and salsa, plus two rounds of the famous Parmesan biscuits. Clare and Jane on raspberry themed desserts – bloody lovely – and Sarah T on 'cheese for the greedy boys when we were clearly all stuffed already'. So that left me and Mr H just having to knock out a monumental pile of BBQ pork, crackling and sides and ta da – all sorted.
Recreated the photos of each group of 5 that we took back in Sarah's kitchen god knows how many years ago. And of course none of us had changed a bit (hmmmm!)
Fab to have everyone round and to feel just that nice bit normal again.
Andy here displaying a bottle of Romanian wine (yes really) from Pam & Jude's Hannibal Brown collection that everyone really liked. Amazing the more you drink, the more you like stuff! Cheers all.
