And didn't we have a lovely sunny day for it this year! Not as utterly sweltering as 1-2 have been, but a perfect British summer's day. More than hot enough for us to polish off a jug of Pimms between us in about 5 minutes flat… oh and watch some tennis as well.
Was a very British tennis day too – all the Brits on court, and some even bucked the trend and won their matches.
Always a very nice day to chinwag (off court obvs – unlike the noisy buggers sitting near us), catch some sun, see plenty of matches as they only play three sets and be very smugly pleased to have brought our own food with us given the prices there. £5.20 for a small slice of carrot cake – eeeeeekkkk!!!!
