Had a fab evening chez Mikey & Margo last Fri, to celebrate Patrick getting through all the hideous tests to apply to Big School.
I had just got off the plane from Portugal so was home for all of 15 minutes to have a shower, put on clean clothes and jump in the car, as our flight was a tad delayed. (Still growling – have taken 4 separate BA flights in the last month and every one was delayed at least 30 mins, one by 1.5 hours….grr! But at least it got us back.)
Had a lovely steak night – Patrick's choice of celebratory scoff – and the young man with be going to Emanuel school in September, Which very handily is close by and he can get himself there and back – nice bonus! And had a text from the lovely James Woodhead as we were there so had to ping a cheesy photo of us back to him & Dominic right then and there.
With of course a matching one coming straight back at us…
Very sweet to see H and Patrick sharing a man hug…They have decided that the annual day out together this year will involve a 10 mile or so walk. Hope H is up for carrying a tired young man at the end!
