One result we've had so far has been my bone marrow biopsy – very glad to report it is stable at 0.002. This is the same as it was six months ago, so exactly what I was hoping to hear. Always feels like it kind of 'buys me' 6 more months, till the next one is due, and sparks off all sorts of thoughts about how I could best make use of that time..
It goes hand in hand with a PET CT scan, which is now booked in for a week on Fri. Am slightly more worried about this one as I've had an odd pain in my top right chest/sternum area for… hmm, to be honest, many months now. So it may pick something up, or it might not, and if it doesn't then I think Prof is going to pack me off for an MRI. All with any luck still going to show nothing, but I am more than aware that it's been ages since anything brown and nasty has hit the fan, so at some point the luck will inevitably run out. But – fingers crossed as bloody always – perhaps this one is a weird pulled muscle or something and nothing worse.
