Met up with Vicki, Tina, Soph & Laura on Fri night – cocktails at Lost & Co in Putney before heading to La Gazette for un petit soupçon de diner francais.
All quite civilised until Mr H shipped in at 10pm with an equally plastered John Nurse – cue the picking up of my chicken and gnawing it like a cannibal while shouting across the restaurant, with me hissing 'sit down you two' in no undisguised terms…
Followed eventually by Mr H coming to bed – unhelpfully feeling very chatty – at 2am. And what a surprise – the dear chap was feeling really rather jaded all day Saturday as a result.

Still, we are off to California to meet Jules & Nicky this week, who are 10 months into their crazy cycle trip (up South America and Central America, through Mexico and now nearing San Fran to meet us). 16,000 miles or something truly insane.
If anyone's going to be a lightweight on the drinks, it's those healthy-living two! Tee hee hee, let battle commence x
