And then of course – back to reality and down to earth with a bump. Spent a joyous 70 minutes in the very noisy MRI scanner at Parkside yesterday, having 3 different scans done – my neck areas, T-section of chest and lower spine, as all are not quite as they should be.
Seems to be facet joint issues with most bits – which in the neck means I have limited movement up & down and side to side, and it hurts sporadically. My lower back is the more annoying at the moment, as that just aches and pisses me off pretty much all the time now, even when doing the least 'active' things – just taking the dog for a gentle walk means I end up trying to touch my (long lost!) toast ease the aching in my lower back, and popping Nurofen far too often just to keep the annoyance and aggro at bay.
Awaiting follow up appointment at Parkside next week to see what can be done – can feel some more foul injections in the offing but maybe I'll get lucky and it'll be a large pina colada and a sexy masseur instead?
I guess I should coco, we can but dream though… x
