At last! The doors of the Harris-Green abode were finally thrown open last Friday, so off Nicky & I trotted to Marlow to meet little Martha. Still only 7lbs and (handily!) behaving herself like a little angel. And obvs v good to see the new Mummies Soph & Jane, adjusting very well to their total life turnaround.
Plenty of time for tea, brownies and lots of Aunty Nicky & Scotty cuddles..
Just in time it turned out as Soph & Jane took Martha to the docs that afternoon to check out the tiny spots on her face, and she was then admitted to hospital. Nothing major – mostly precautionary – but I'm sure a scary start to Mummy life.
Here's to more Martha time soon. They are mentioning an Actual Trip Out With Baby to come and see us – but we'll see! x
