Here’s hoping that today is the last day I will own a box of contact lenses and be borrowing Cathy’s useful if slightly Germanic distance glasses….
Eye surgery is tomorrow, arriving at at 7.40am (random time!) I should have much better sight within 24 hours although it could take 3-6 months to stop using eye drops and up to a year (hopefully less) for it to settle fully.
I started wearing contacts aged 22 so it’s been a very long time without any eye help – just hope that I am in the big percentage that it works for and not the tiny group that have issues.
Now wouldn’t that be a nice early 50th birthday present? I have thoughts of sitting on our catamaran on my birthday trip with just my sunnies on (and a bikini of course!) x
