So, 12 weeks and the place still looks like a flipping sh+thole.
The bits of progress are that we finally have 2 velux windows in the extension, the sliding doors are in (and are quite cool, got some natty internal blinds that you can roll up and down) and as of an hour ago we have a garden fence!
But as you'll see from the photos – there's still quite a long way to go (not quite spotting the hot roasted turkey sitting proud on the spotless new kitchen island quite yet…)
H is about to fire the bloke in the photo with the doors – works at the pace of a fecking giant tortoise
and has the plumbing skills to match. This would stress the hell out of me but Mr H though is loving the whole builder management piece, there's a bricky foreman somewhere in his genes….
Anyway – lastest shots of our dive for your delectation, you'll be able to see why it's damn hard to get any clean washing done these days and why you've got to watch your step everywhere! Sx
