Just on the big Choo Choo back from a fab three nighter visit to Harrogate, to stay with David & Mandy. Terrible weather but nonetheless a lovely few days, chatting, eating, cooking, walking (not a lot!), wandering indoor garden centres etc etc.
Maddie is now the proud owner of a new Babe (furry pig for dogs) – though poor Babe is already minus ears, paws and most of its tail… A tough one for both Dav & Mands to have a spaniel visiting, having lost their beloved Macey just a couple of weeks ago.
The house looks even more stunning at Christmas, so we hunkered down and watched three films – my first experience of The Grinch, plus we tucked into the first episode of Vigil – fitting as we watched the last one of the previous series together in Cornwall.
And we had our first proper Christmas dinner, turkey, trimmings and all – delicious and def got us in the mood for at least 1-2 more in the coming few weeks!
We are now the delighted recipients of two fab Xmas prezzie boxes – thanks massively Mands (and a bit of Dav!) – and have got our next meet booked for late Feb, down in the Big Smoke.
