Grenadines A GoGo

Well, it might not quite be the right way up, but here is this morning’s rather delightful snorkelling stop. Sandy Island, near Carriacou in the southern Grenadines.

Sorry for the slight break in transmission – Typepad helpfully suspended my account with no warning.  But luckily for you it means fewer annoying beach photos till I get back and download the two cameras (normal and underwater).

Suffice to say, the weather is hot to trot, turquoise wet stuff abounds, the underwater world is a delight – just seen 7 turtles, 12 box fish and a shoal of about 50 squid, one of my favourites, in our current stop in the stunning Tobago Cays.

And as it’s Saturday, the boys are in the ‘front bar’ drinking sundowner Hairouns and watching the rugby highlights on the iPad. It’s just like being at home, sigh….

4 more nights on board to come, we have pretty much perfected the banana colada come painkiller cocktail, John even brought his own blender with him just to keep the liquid flowing…. should go well with tonight’s supper, still flapping about here.
