Caught up with Nicky, Vicki & Soph on Fri eve – a few cheeky Happy Hours cocktails at the Southside on Battersea Rise before heading for some bowls of steaming Vietnamese pho (supposedly pronounced 'Fuh' but not even the restaurant staff were calling it that, so who the hell knows).
Very hard to say the words 'give me a big bowl of bland soup with tofu in it for supper', when I really wanted the spicy chicken stir fry, but hey ho – a bit of weight loss pre Abu Dhabi is required, and even Friday nights aren't sacrosanct (luckily made up for it on Saturday with some cottage over-indulging!)
Godo to catch up with the girls – only 6 weeks or so now till Nicky heads off on her big cycle trip with Jules through South America, Central America and into North America, so all nights out now at a premium! x
