Well, we must be into October – the month of the big birthday – as I've just met Lucy R for a dog walk, and been surprised by the delivery of a fantastic meats parcel from Lucy's local butcher's near their cottage in Suffolk.
Ham, black bacon (who knew?), a delicious looking tapas mix, nibbly bits and a garlic tapenade that I can smell from where I am typing this several feet away! Must be a good 'un….
