Blimey – it was blowing a hoolie (no, not a hoodie, thanks spell check), in Worthing on Friday.
Janine & I headed down in the car to meet up with Helen Davies, an old AV chum, who is flat sitting there at the moment. Which also gave us a chance to book some cinema tickets for this coming week (albeit for a film which Helen then said she’d seen and wasn’t;t totally sure that we and the boys would like it!)
We had a fairly brief wander along the sea front, enough time for Flossy and Scout to do their business, and for all of us to get blown away by the mega winds – hence the woolly hats and not-entirely-flattering photo!

Then headed to the Malt Cafe, a very dog-friendly little place that we’ve now visited three times, and where the people are lovely, the other diners tend to be happy to stroke each dog as they seek out attention and the food is fresh cooked and a bit different – one nicely spicy chorizo hash for me!
Poured myself onto the train back to London as J was heading straight on to the cottage – had to set an alarm to make sure I didn’t doze my way past Clapham Junction – and was home and on the sofa by 5ish. H & Mads were away overnight scoffing roast lamb at Jules’ place (Nicky is working in the US again) so it was my choice of crap TV all evening and an early night. Wild, me, huh? x
