Having had some of H's boys over on Wed for dinner, Nurse and Ashley – for a bit of pre-electrician visit shed-shifting and the joys of watching Chelsea play football – last night it was the turn of some of the girls.
V good to see Pam & Jude (who did enjoy their Scrumpy cuddles) plus 'I'm not drinking, oh all right then' Soph. Mr H baked his first ever cake for his Macmillan bake sale at work today – lots of carrots met their demise as well as some slightly out of date dried fruit.
And even more amazingly, I cooked both meals and no-one so far seems to have dropped dead. Either from the shock or the food. Although H does still look a touch stunned in the photo..
