Despite a very wet and blustery typical October evening, somehow the AV5 made it up to Bermondsey for some drinks and dinner, as an early birthday soiree for me.
Started off in the Bermondsey Arts Club – rather oddly, some converted toilets, complete with white tiled walls and underground vibe. Luckily no smell of bleach, or worse..
Then on to Kin & Deum – Thai always my fave, so an excellent choice by the girls, and oddly exactly the venue that I had earmarked for H to take me to when he is feeling better, as he owes me a Thai night out! Top notch food and some lovely prezzies – a very nice start to birthday week, and I shall be opening the bag of goodies again on Wednesday morning with any other loot that lurks in our bedroom by that point..
