What with all this blog switching malarkey, I didn’t have a chance to stick my twice-a-year test results on here, till now.
And – hurrah – they were actually slightly better this time than the last 2 times!
A year ago, the PET CT was clear but one of the 2 things they check in the bone marrow biopsy showed the presence of myeloma.
6 months ago the PET CT was clear but the other one of the two things in the bone marrow biopsy had myeloma cells in it – it seemed to have switched over somehow.
And this time – BOOM – both the PET CT and the BMB were fully clear.
Always time for a massive sigh of relief and the belief that the things I have planned for the next 6 months should hopefully all go ahead as wished for, barring any unforeseen shite looming up out of the blue.
So – my booking finger has been particularly busy and lots of stuff is in the offing. Only a couple of things abroad, but lots of UK ‘try this and see if we like it’ type of thing. As they say in various films, it’s time to say Yes to whatever comes by (opera / heavy metal / woodland poetry reading outings not included!).
