So – on Thursday night I went to the Added Value Xmas Party. Billed as the 'last ever' because the Added Value name will go forever from January 2018 when the company becomes Kantar Consulting alongside The Futures Company, Kantar Retail and Millward Brown Vermeer. Well, one of those at least could really do with a new name, that's for sure.
Felt… about 100 years old alongside a swathe of very fresh young faces, some of whom I swear are not old enough to work or drink. Sad but this is no longer my 'home' despite the very welcome few faces – Sarah T, Michelle etc – that I still know well.
Much more comfortable – and definitely not the oldest – hurrah – at last night's AV Alumni bash. Some unexpected first time/not been for a while faces appeared, as often happens at these do's – Cyrille, Sue Sochart, Sarah Littlefair/Overin, Dave Blackshaw, Tania Heyes, Caroline and several others, as well as the familiar ones who come most years.
Managed to shovel most of us together for a quick team photo – cheers to Lucy for taking this one!
