Well done to Curly for dragging a few of the old AV girls out for some cheeky cocktails last night.
I poled into B@1 at a minute to 7pm to find an impressive row of chilled mojitos already lined up already in front of Jane, K and Curly – I knew there was a reason I liked them… Good effort girls, you gotta love a 2 for 1 Happy Hour hey?
Although somehow it seems – on trying to count back on my consumption in the night, wondering why I was feeling quite so dubious – that I then blithely knocked back 5 cocktails within an hour. I am slightly unsure as to whether it was actually 7, which really would answer the question of my dodgy innards, but think it was hopefully 'just' the five stonkers…
We then headed to Cote for a bit of soak-it-up-supper, and I eventually toddled home on the wonderful 156 to Wimbledon.
Hats off especially to the furthest out of owners, Hutty and K, for heading all the way into the big smoke for the night.
Must do it again soon! (Once my indignant internal eco-system has fully recovered…) x
