It's taken me a while to sum up the courage to post this particularly attractive pic – a delightful t-shirt made for me by the Aces hockey girls.
Managed to embarrass the arse off myself in a match a couple of weeks back when one of the oppo deliberately booted in their 4th goal against us and despite us challenging her – and the fact there was no way we were ever going to win the match, so they really didn't need the extra goal – she didn't own up to what she'd done.
So I – in my best plummy posh Southerner voice, and trying not to get sent off by swearing at her as I actually wanted to do – managed to come out with the ridiculous phrase – 'that is so SCUMMY. Hang your head in shame, number 102' as she strutted back up the pitch with a 'got away with that' smirk on her chops.
Of course, merciless ribbing by the girls since then – and well-deserved – when have I ever used the word 'scummy'?!
Hence being given this delight to wear at our Christmas do - 'That is so SCUMMY' written on the front and this on the back. Quality…..
