Wow – didn't the girls do incredibly well?
Almost £20,000 round shiny pounds in the coffers so far from their 12 massive events of 2014, all done for Myeloma UK, which is a monumental effort on their part.
So Mr H & I had them, plus the lovely Jules, round for dinner last night to carve celebratory lamb and make them laugh with my risible attempt at decorating the room with visuals of their activities. Just printing off some of those suckers made me realise what a phenomenal job they've done – it seemed to be an endless selection of rarefied air mountain passes, snow bound landscapes, and either thousands of people running or pedalling bikes up, up, and even more up…..
Soph is trying to tap the RAF for the final few hundred quid to take them to the magical £20k mark – but whether they make it or not, it's hats off to them for turning an idea they mentioned to me back in 2013 over a Thai meal in Earlsfield into incredibly impressive reality. WOW.

Awesome effort and hats off to the girls for an amazing year of fund raising. Was a lot of fun helping in some of the communal events, especially ping pong at the end of the year. Bloody brilliant! – Swighty x
