Is it that time already? Bag is packed and heading off at lunchtime to start the epic slog with Janine to not just Java but a city called Yogyakarta on Java.
About an hour to Heathrow.. 2 hours hanging around there.. 7 hours to Dubai.. 2 hours there.. 9 hours to Java.. 4 (ugh) hours in transit there.. one hour to Yogya… hopefully get collected, driven into town, check into hotel and crawl into bed. Mmmm, can't wait! These temples had bloody well better be good. At least it's pretty much guaranteed that the scoff will be better than Uzbekistan's was last year (writing that is an unwitting invitation for an unlucky bout of food poisoning, I'm sure)
Here's the main one – Borabudur – the real reason behind the trip. Roll on seeing it in person…
So – see you lovely blog-alog peeps in about 10 days.
Place your bets now as to how much of the painstakingly-lost half a stone that I have managed to shake off (via Diet Chef) in the last 3 weeks, miraculously replants itself on me while we are away. (Well, I have to admit some Walkers Sensations did make their way into my hand luggage, oh happy days).
Lots of love to y'all. Enjoy blackberry season, I am hoping there will still be some left when I get back x

Sounds totally pants! But that’s maybe because we’re looking no further than Belgian/Froggy campsites for the next 10 years. If we want to gaze at Buddhas, we’ll buy one from the local pound store. Or did I just get the unadventurous genes?
