Finally managed to get to try Jules's lovely sushi restaurant K10 up in town today. Getting in there fast before he heads off on the big cycle trip in a few weeks' time!
Sat and scoffed with Mr Hawkes and Nicky – poor Jules having to manage the place which was heaving with punters – must have been 60 of so seated around the monster conveyor belt, plus a queue out the door trying to get in.
Very sweet Myanmar lady with a beaming smile rushing about making sure all was well – apparently known affectionately by the boys as Miss Burma, and got a quick viewing of Miss Poland as well – another favourite with the boys, so I gather.
Filled our boots with some top notch sushi, sashimi, soft shell crab, black cod, katsu curry and far too many little plates practically toppled off the table.
Way to go – better than my usual lunch, that's for sure. Cheers Jules – much appreciated x
