Good Sess with Prof

Saw Prof yesterday and after I had walked in and sat down opposite him, the chat went like this.

Prof: 'Bloody hell. …. Bloody hell…. Bloody hell…. Bloody hell…. Bloody hell'

Me: 'Urm…?'

Prof: 'Blood-dy Hell! Who would have thought it a month ago? Even two weeks ago?'

As he continued to burble, I just took this to mean he was pleased with progress.

Which I massively am too. When I think about how I was even three weeks ago, it's a bloody joy to be feeling this good and be able to do what I can now. Sure, it's not 'normal' and never will be, but the steroids are certainly buoying me up big time right now.

Just back from a curry round at J&R's with Stewart Mac. Couldn't have done that 3 weeks ago.

So I guess having to go to CCL and have my first chemo maintenance day today, and do this every month for as long as remission lasts, is the price I'll have to pay for whatever continued health I'm going to have from now on.

And there's still a chance things may further improve, always hopeful on that front too. But in the meantime, bloody loving not feeling like an utter bag of shit, and actually being on good form. Bloody hell indeed x
