Had a Brucey Bonus day back at Wimbers on Monday this week, with my hockey chum Soph.
Started off on the Hill, as you do, to suck up a bit of the atmos and see Pam & Jude who'd queued for tickets that morning. They were well into the vino already, well, you gotta drink it while it's cold, hey?
Soph's chum Laura is also in the RAF and was 'manning' the Royal Box – rather pleasingly, she managed to blag us two fantastic seats in Row C (yes, three from the very front) of Centre Court, bang on the net line. For nada. Excellent!
Just in time for Murray and Federer. Jolly, jolly, jolly – all washed down with a very good picnic and a lashing of Pimms and G&Ts. A top day out – more next year! S x
