And as if lunch out wasn't enough for the 50-somethings, we then hoofed it up to Elephant & Castle (now there's somewhere that's not on my usual travel list) to check out Jules's new sushi gaff. In the rather impressive Mercato Metropolitano. About fifty or so food and drinks places, good vibe and many a Father Xmas knocking about to add to the festive vibe.
Met up with Nurse & Sophia there – and outstayed them as these young folk just can't take the pace these days… tee hee.
Hats off to Jules – opening night seemed to be going with a swing. Best sashimi ever.
