Had a very nice eve last night – the lovely Taylors popped round for Friday supper, replete with amazingly generous gifties for me and the hubby.
Stuffed ourselves with coq au vin, and had a jolly good catch up. It's lovely having lots of people round too but sometimes just being able to focus on two friends and really hear what's going on is a right treat too.
Just a shame Paul had to be in Leicester by 8am this morning – bet that was a touch ouch. We were thinking of you as we had tea in bed and a leisurely sausage sandwich…
