Three legs or four?

Just taken Scrumpy up to the Common for her first lead walk somewhere other than just slowly up and down our road, post her hip surgery.

SO SO lovely to see her walking on all four legs again. Providing we go average pace she is finally managing to walk on all four legs again. And for the first time this morning she ran down the steps (which she isn't actually meant to dom whoops) into the garden on all four as well. For the last few months it's been three legs and the back right lifted right up, so it's just great to see her getting back towards normal again.

It will still be a few months till she's running freely but the vet said yesterday she can go swimming in the pond in 2 weeks time as her stitches are now out and the wound is mending well.

In the meantime we have Flossy (aka the Demon Destroyer) with us for the day as J&R are off on a France wine run. So far sheep has had a leg removed, my flip-flops and a slipper have been rescued from her minxy jaws and she is currently ripping up my empty porridge sachet. Now heading off to terrorise the cleaner for a change of scenery. Flossy is replete with foot boot as she has has a claw removed, so didn't we look a fine sight on the common just now.

Oh and now it's my turn for a visit – this time with her own toy, Meercat, in tow..
