Took the hubby to the Candlelight Concertos at St Martin in the Fields last night. Anyone who knows classical music should stop reading now, as I went for some of the fave tunes – bit of Air on G String, two of the Vivaldi Four Seasons, but all interespersed with various excerpts that we didn’t know.
Perfect setting, ‘lively’ main violinist, candles and a quick beer in the Crypt in the break. Two hours 2as just about right but we were still glad I paid the extra quid for the seat cushions..
