OK – so the weather wasn't super kind to us, but did it matter? Did it hall – we had a great weekend in San Sebastian to celebrate Clare's 60th birthday. And how can she even really be 60 when she can run half marathons and looks this good??
Much fun. frivolity and merriment as always when we get together – with plenty of pinxtos and Spanish beverages to wash it all down. Though we probably need to practise the art of getting 5 heads into a selfie and still keeping some of the background in there too!
Saturday – bless you for being beautiful and sunny so the San Sebastian first timers got to see the town and beaches in all their glory. And always a pleasure to pop back to the Gintoneria for huge bowls of gin, smoking with dry ice and crafted with love.
Just a shame that my back decided to give up the ghost so I couldn't make it up the hill to the quirky old funfair – looks like Jane and Clare were 'loving' the small scare but still terrifying rides!!
