Grace’s Wedding

Yesterday’s wedding of my second adult niece, Grace, was always going to be a bit of a tough one, given that Mum passed away just three days beforehand.

But, we rallied round, shipped ourselves up to Stoke on Trent and I think that Grace had a lovely day nevertheless.

And bless her new groom, Adam, for mentioning what possibly a few people who didn’t know him may have been thinking, which is that he knew he was punching well above his (not inconsiderable!) weight in bagging my rather lovely niece – especially as she is a nutritionist and has a bit of a job on her hands with him! Even the vicar marrying them said Adam had been rather lucky….

Anyway – luckily the sun was out, the barn venue was stunning and Richard made a lovely mention of Mum and a toast was raised in his speech, which felt absolutely fitting.

Nice shot of all three of his girls – poor Jess is 5 months pregnant so had to get out of her bridesmaid’s dress shortly afterwards as it was getting a tad tight… hence she is in green in the next shot!

The little nieces (numbers 4 and 5) were over from Holland with Cathy and Emmanuel and were their usual mischievous selves.

Mr & Mrs H didn’t brush up too badly I reckon – especially in photos taken from a distance.
