OMG – how exciting was yesterday?? Me and the hubster ventured properly 'out out' for the first time in ssssssoooooooo looooong.
Hatched a top plan for Paul T to come and pick us up and take us over to the Taylor gaff in Walton. Lovely drinkies in the garden with nibbles, till of course the British weather pulled a fast one and shooed us back indoors with a squall.
Then a fab leisurely dinner a quatre, punctuated with multiple hand washings and sanitising, mid the many courses of v nice scoff and random singing to the Carpenters and ELO. Stuffed….
Topped off with a worry-free trip home from 'Clarkie Cars' – our mate Clarkie who sometimes does airport runs for her mates in more normal times, but who took us home without the concerns of a grubby Uber or public transport. Cheers Clarks!
