Had a mini gathering Fri eve to celebrate Sophie's birthday that day. Boys took one for the team and headed up to Billingsgate Market to hunter-gather vast amounts of seafood including two live lobsters for the feast.
Pam & Jude popped by for a pre-dinner drink with one of their very nice personalised bottles of vino for Soph, (check out my chops on the front of the label) then it was into the fish fest…
And you can only imagine the charming fishy waft of the house as we all tucked into the huge fruits de mer platter..
Just about room at the end – and with rain finally allowing us back outside – for Jane's giant red velvet cake.
