While more stuff is at last going face to face in person, there was still a Zoom in the diary this week, with my siblings Richard & Cathy.
Such a pisser that Cathy is stuck in Holland, with no sign of any vaccines, despite her husband being over 60 (and Cathy not far behind!) Not a sniff of any dates when they will be invited for a jab and Dutch bureaucracy seems to be working against the population's needs rather than for it, sadly. We've now not seen each other for 13 months and there's little indication that either of us will be travelling to and from Clogland any time soon. Bugger.
So, good to catch up – with Richard in his new (centuries old) cottage up on the edge of the Peak District, so he & Heather can spend more time with their middle daughter Grace, who had baby Bobby a few months ago.
Had to capture a screen shot to remind myself how oddly unsimilar we are to each other – Mum always swore I wasn't adopted but the genes and faces of my sibs always suggested otherwise! Luckily I look very much like Mum so believed her.. x
