Another Duolingo milestone – and its getting scary how the tens of days are racking up into hundreds now. I only started doing Duo to improve my Spanish because Hawksey said he was going to have a crack at learning French, and now here we are – a crazy 400 days later.
Many improvements here in the UK re the pandemic, but still a global shitstorm of epic proportions. Such a huge shame, if that's even a big enough word to encapsulate all this.
I am very much hoping not to see 500 days, as the minute life gets back to 'more normal' even if not 'fully normal' I'll be dumping Duo for shinier brighter things.
Suspect the 500 may well roll round, I just desperately hope it never ever makes 4 figures… please.
On the upside, I was very pleasantly surprised to see that the NHS app with our vaccine dates on it actually worked on the first day it was meant to – here's hoping I get to flash this little screen grab several times at an airport before this year is out.
