Blimey – who knew anything exciting happened on Valentine's Day these days ??!!
Well, this year it came up trumps, with Swighty getting down on the old bended knee to ask for Woodsie's hand in marriage. Not that they have got as far as setting a date yet, I think both may be in a slight state of shock! Currently both are sporting a toy ring, so hoping for a Hairdo or something more solid in the weeks to come.
Anyway – perfectly timed as we were all heading to Claire & Jon's already for a curry dinner – who knew that cuzza actually goes fairly well with buckets of Taittinger? (Yes that's my saddo Bucks Fizz coming into view..)
Absolutely delighted for them – and will be even more so if a wedding date hits our diaries SOON. Also gave rise to an entertaining chat about whether they would become Swight Wight-Woods and Penny Wight-Woods or Swight Woods-Wight and Penny Woods-Wight… Not sure which is more Wight than Wrong.
Swight, as ever, in her preferred goalkeeper position of lying prone on the floor – even though she hasn't actually got her keepers kit on..
