Very nice day at – in the Actual Sunshine!!! – at Queen's tennis with Liz T yesterday.
Had 4 matches to watch, including 3 Brits, which must be a mini record. And one of them even won!
Still somewhat mesmerised while watching the 6 foot 11 inches tall chap Opelka move around the court. Made the line judges look very small and totally dwarfed the ball girls.. god knows how he plays tennis but his merely 6 foot oppo also looked like a small child..
Very pleased that Jack Draper managed to beat the awkwardly named Fritz who was a much higher seed, though Norrie lost to Dimitrov – no surprises there. And Broady got one set off Cilic before being duly despatched too.
Lots of picnicky bits, plenty of Pimms ,a rare chance to plaster suncream on and a good chance to catch up – nice one Liz for booking it and glad that for once I was actually here!
