Daddy Meets Maddie

The big day finally came for H this Wednesday – his first chance to meet our new little girl, Maddie. Drove over to Reading and there she was, obviously waiting with bated breath for our arrival (!). She wasn't as big as I thought she might have already grown, still very much a littler ppper.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Needless to say H immediately fell in love. And I suspect if she'd had 5 legs and a donkey's tail he would have done anyway. 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

One very happy Mr H, and while both of us can at the moment only see Scrumpy when there is a black & white spaniel in front of us, once we get her home and her own character emerges I'm sure Miss Maddie will become a force unto herself pretty darn soon.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

H as ever worked his magic, one mad puppy instantly calmed and lying like a flat pack in her arms within seconds..

Counting down till August 2nd when little madam will be coming hoooooooome.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

And until then we have the pleasure of Lottie's company while Mark & Charlie are on hols – not that she's doing too well getting past the very scary Hissing Gatekeeper of the Doors! x
